About 1000 Faces Coffee
Cafe and Roastery
Located at 510 N Thomas St, Athens, GA 30601, 1000 Faces Coffee operates as a coffee shop serving Athens in Georgia. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 7 amβ6 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach 1000 Faces Coffee at (706) 534-8860; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is 1000facescoffee.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.6 out of 5 from 577 reviews, which is a strong result for a coffee shop in Athens and suggests consistent service.
Athens is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Athens is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Georgia's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Let me say this - Iβm not a coffee snob. I like a strong cup of black coffee, and 1000 Faces nails that every time. No fuss, no foam dissertationsβjust really good coffee. The folks are friendly, the atmosphere is charming, and if your cup needs something extra, they are experts. As for me? Iβm perfectly content right where I am. Go to 1000 Faces now. Or later. But go.

I stopped by here while travelling, and liked the coffee so much I stopped on the way back from my trip as well. Really bright atmosphere and both coffees I tried were sooo good! The coffee they use is smooth and nutty tasting. I tried a hot cappuccino (dont worry, there's only one size of cappuccino here!) and I had an iced latte the second time. Trust me it's good, I've been to many many coffee shops. If I was a local I'd be a regular!βοΈ

Clean and cozy coffee shop. Employee was nice and kind. Made a adorable hot cocoa bear art for my kid to enjoy on a cold day. Drinks were good but no sweet snacks. Just drinks.
